About Us: AMEN Public Policy Council
Created by the four Michigan Episcopal Bishops at the All Michigan Episcopal Network Conference in May of 2006, the AMEN Public Policy Council advises the Bishops on public policy issues. The Council is comprised of two representatives from each Diocese appointed by the Bishop. The AMEN Public Policy Council also represents Michigan in the Episcopal Public Policy Network’s State Public Policy Network program.

Grant, O God, that your holy and life-giving Spirit may so move every human heart [and especially the hearts of the people of this land], that barriers which divide us may crumble, suspicions disappear, and hatreds cease; that our divisions being healed, we may live in justice and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
