In Michigan we are facing a lot of important issues. From a budget crisis that threatens to damage social services and education in Michigan to a number of exciting new initiatives being discussed by our elected officials – there is no shortage of activity on the public policy front. You’ve voiced your interest in these issues, and many more, and the Bishops of the Episcopal Dioceses have heard you and have responded with the creation of the All Michigan Episcopal Network (AMEN) Public Policy Network.
The AMEN Public Policy Council will be monitoring state and local public policy matters as they develop. In consultation with the four Michigan Episcopal Bishops and the EPPN office this exciting new collaborative effort will be developing responses and sharing information with interested Episcopalians in Michigan.
